Filter of Hope

For our first installment of Jim’s Cares, we’re partnering with an amazing organization bringing the gift of clean water to communities that desperately need it. Filter of Hope is a nonprofit organization based in Tuscaloosa, AL that is “driven by the compassion of Christ.” Filter of Hope is focused on providing life-saving water filters to communities around the world that lack access to clean drinking water.

Their point-of-use filters are easy to use, inexpensive, and can provide families with safe water for up to ten years. These inline filters install in 5-gallon buckets or any other water containment device that a resident may have and can filter up to 250 gallons of water per day! Alongside providing clean water, Filter of Hope also shares the gospel to bring hope and health to families in need. The organization works across 70 countries, impacting millions by ensuring both physical and spiritual well-being.

Filter of Hope is an organization that is very special to Jim’s Moving because in 2023, I had the privilege of joining a Filter of Hope trip with my oldest son. We spent 6 days in Belize City and surrounding villages. We walked through local neighborhoods and villages and witnessed first-hand the profound impact these simple, effective water filters have on families. It was a truly eye-opening experience that reaffirmed our commitment to supporting this life-changing cause.
